Maude Kerns Art Center had produced Art and the Festival for 34 years, up until the pandemic. After a 4-year hiatus, they were finally ready to relaunch the festival, but their previous event manager had retired.
Enter Secret Sauce Productions! In just five months, we took the planning from zero to a full-fledged 3-day festival over July 4th weekend in 2024. We put on a festival in the part for about 7,500 people over four days. We started with a blank slate of nothing but grass and transformed it into 100 artist booths, two dozen beverage vendors, food cards, a mainstage with 12 musical acts, and more. Plus, Secret Sauce implemented a digital ticketing system for the first time and was responsible for the full, omnichannel marketing plan.
